Why supplement with adaptogens?
Stress can affect our quality of sleep, which is why we wanted to include adaptogens in this supplement. When we face a stressor, our bodies go through a General Adaptation Syndrome which is a three-stage response: alarm, resistance and exhaustion. Adaptogens can help you stay in the resistance phase for longer: instead of crashing, you carry on. Adaptogens, like our blend of Reishi, Maitake and Shiitake Mushrooms, also help with mood balance - another important factor when it comes to getting quality shut eye.

How: Stir one level scoop (7g) of Beauty Sleep into 250ml hot water, milk or milk alternative. We’ve made this product as clean as possible, with no added sugar, so if you like things a bit sweeter feel free to add your favourite sweetener, sugar, maple syrup or honey to taste.
Beauty Sleep is best enjoyed hot, but can also be delicious over ice. Simply use a little hot water to dissolve the powder before adding your favourite cold milk and ice.
When: Take Beauty Sleep in the evening at least 30 minutes before bed.
